More broadly, the Connected Patient Challenge is designed to foster a digital health innovation community where discussion with input from many sources can build strong, robust challenge submissions leading to successful, life-changing diagnostics, devices, therapies and patient management programs.

Does the presenter clearly state the problem they are solving? How does their idea solve the problem and how will they evaluate how well their solution works? Can the idea be realistically implemented in today’s clinical environment at a reasonable cost?
We are looking for ideas that produce real benefits (improved patient outcomes, cost saving, reduction in care needed by patient, better patient experience, etc.).
Concepts that are focused on the following disease states are most attractive: cardiovascular; digestive; cancer; neurological / chronic pain; respiratory; and/or urology and pelvic health.
